Your Role and Responsibilities The Sr. DevOps Engineer is responsible for analysis, proof of technology, architecture, and building the end-to-end CI/CD pipeline in a non-cloud, on-premise multiple platforms DevOps environment:

  • Understanding current SDLC methodology and technologies used for host and web application
  • Define a strategy that will automate and streamline the operations and process to enable continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment workflows
  • Collaborate with SME/ Leads of various Application Development, Architecture, and Infrastructure Services teams throughout the development/testing lifecycle to support implementations of the automation strategic
  • Explore and evaluate via proof of technology on various toolsets that meet the teams’ requirements for plan, build, CI/CD, monitor, operate, and continuous feedback
  • Technical lead for the deployment of the selected automation tools for the various development processes from creating, continually testing and deploying new application services
  • Direct and mentor team members in rolling out the use of the automation framework and CI/CD process
This role is currently remote work from home. Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 10+ years experience in DevOps pipelines, tools, monitoring, and automation tools
  • Expertise in building CI/CD pipeline for mainframes or web-based application from scratch
  • Experience with Web Services testing using tools like SOAP UI, Postman, JMeter, ReadyAPI etc.
  • Experience in automation using programming languages such as (C#, Java, Phyton etc).
  • Experience with resource coordination, work assignments allocation, effort estimation and tracking progress across team
  • Understanding functional and non-functional system integration test levels, regression testing, black box and white box testing techniques, GUI testing, back-end [API] testing, browser compatibility testing.
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile SDLS delivery methods and processes
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Experience with mentoring test team members in areas such as performance and automation test scripts coding and debugging.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
  • Experience with development automation tools selection and techniques to improve application service delivery efficiency
  • Excellent verbal, and written communication and analytical skills
