The Team:

SAP recently decided to combine and harmonize all SAP Sovereign Cloud offerings, establishing an end-to-end process for the Public Sector and regulated industries. The business unit is part of SAP Government Security & Secrecy (GS2) to further strengthen its mission to support governments and nations in protecting their most vital assets. SAP Sovereign Cloud Services is collaborating closely with all Board areas to establish a harmonized, scalable, and consistent offering with transparent and standardized deliverables.

An SAP HANA Engineer will manage the SAP S4 HANA daily operations of our SAP ecosystem. The individual must have strong technical knowledge of SAP systems and databases. Additional responsibilities include managing periodic maintenance activities, refreshes, patching, and upgrades.

Job Requirements / Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in the design and implementation of SAP S/4 HANA systems
• Strong knowledge of multi-system landscapes architecture and integration aspects between heterogeneous system technologies (Global focus desired), in the areas of build and support for ECC, CRM, PI, EP, BW, and HANA.
• Design, implement, monitor, and optimize SAP landscapes and dependent technologies. Monitors and tunes system performance and workload. Manage and performs system refreshes; participate in the scheduling of refreshes as requested.
• Hands on SAP BASIS experience
• Good knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP cloud solutions
• Participate in an On-call rotation

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years of SAP experience with at least two years focus on SAP S/4 Hana
• Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to create and sustain meaningful client relationships
• System landscape design and management experience in operations and project scenarios
• Plan and manage SAP systems maintenance schedule
• Involved in planning and testing of the DR
• Deep understanding of SAP best practices on Backup and Recovery
• Provide leadership on troubleshooting for system performance issues
• Provide leadership for root cause analysis
• Implementation, upgrade and support of the latest SAP systems versions, running on Windows/Linux OS and HANA/Sybase/Oracle/SQL Server
