Cloud & Infrastructure:

o??Terraform (Infrastructure as Code): module development, basic state management
o??Linux/Unix administration: production system management, command-line proficiency
o??Basic container concepts: Docker, container troubleshooting

Development & Automation:

o??GitLab CI/CD: pipeline development, troubleshooting, YAML configuration
o??Python or Bash scripting: automation, integration, tooling
o??Infrastructure automation: experience with configuration management tools
o??AI coding assistants: GitLab Duo, or similar

Working Style:

o??Agile/Scrum experience: sprint-based delivery, stand-ups, retrospectives
o??Strong written communication: creates clear documentation, works effectively remote
o??Flexible problem-solver: comfortable with support requests and project work
o??Self-directed: able to work independently with minimal oversight

Nice-to-Have (Desired)

Platform Tools:

o??Kubernetes basics: kubectl, pod troubleshooting, YAML manifests
o??Ansible: playbook development, role management, automation workflows
o??AWS services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3 (hands-on operational experience)

Additional Skills:

o??Secret management: basic operations and secret retrieval
o??Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, OTEL, or similar
o??Git workflows: branching strategies, merge conflict resolution

Work Environment

o??Team: Elite platform engineering team, Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDA)
o??Primary Activities: Engineering support, GitLab pipeline development, infrastructure requests, operational troubleshooting
o??Schedule: Nearshore preferred (must have overlap until 2-3pm EST)
o??Duration: 6 months contract
o??Work Style: Remote, self-directed, documentation-focused, comfortable with ambiguity
