We are seeking a highly skilled

Senior DevOps Engineer

with expertise in modernizing legacy applications and transforming traditional development workflows into a fully automated CI/CD model. The ideal candidate has experience working with on-premises infrastructure automation, and DevOps best practices to streamline deployment pipelines and enhance software delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

------------------------


Analyze, design, and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, and deployment. Migrate and modernize legacy PHP codebases, improving automation and reducing technical debt. Collaborate with development teams to adopt DevOps methodologies, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Implement containerization and orchestration solutions (Docker, Kubernetes). Automate monitoring, logging, and security compliance for on-premise infrastructure. Troubleshoot build and deployment issues and enhance system reliability. Establish best practices for configuration management, version control, and release management.

Required Qualifications

5+ years

of experience in DevOps, software engineering, or system administration, specifically working with

Linux on-prem systems/DevOps

environments. Expertise in designing and implementing

CI/CD pipelines

using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar. Strong hands-on experience with

legacy code transformation

into modern DevOps workflows. Proficiency in

Docker

and

Kubernetes

for container orchestration. Experience with

Ansible

, or similar IaC tools. Strong scripting skills in

Bash, PHP and Python

for automation. Familiarity with security best practices for DevOps, including secret management and compliance with ISO, PCI, and SOC2. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Expert Knowledge of

PHP testing frameworks

(e.g. PHP Unit)

Preferred Qualifications
