Position Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure across Azure and hybrid/multi-cloud environments. You will manage CI/CD pipelines, containerized applications, and monitoring solutions while collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams.


You will define DevOps best practices, mentor junior engineers, and ensure reliable, high-performing systems. Your work will include incident response, troubleshooting complex systems, implementing automation, and maintaining security and compliance standards. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, directly impacting on the reliability and scalability of our applications and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure, with a focus on Azure and hybrid/multi-cloud environments Implement and manage automated build, test, and deployment of pipelines using Bitbucket CI/CD and Pipelines Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, including cluster management, scaling, and monitoring Implement monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and SLAs using Azure Monitor and related tools Apply networking knowledge (VPCs, subnets, firewalls, VPNs) and security best practices (IAM, secrets management, SSL/TLS, encryption, compliance such as ISO and SOC2) Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and reliable operations Mentor junior engineers and define DevOps best practices Troubleshoot complex systems and provide proactive problem-solving solutions Participate in Agile development processes, code reviews, and postmortems Work with microservices architectures, Dapr, Java, Spring Boot, React, and Python-based solutions

Required Skills & Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience 5+ years of programming experience Expert-level proficiency in at least one programming language; exposure to multiple languages. Java, Spring Boot, and ReactJS are strong assets Experience in Agile software development frameworks Proven experience in CI/CD, containerization, orchestration, monitoring, and security best practices Knowledge of cloud networking, hybrid/multi-cloud setups, and DevOps tooling Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills Strong communication skills for incident management, collaboration, and mentoring Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
