- AWS Cloud Management: Lead the design, deployment, and management of AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Provisioning Code Optimization: Identify and remove obsolete or redundant code from provisioning scripts to streamline deployment processes.
- S3 Storage Management: Manage and optimize S3 storage solutions, ensuring cost-effective and high-performance storage management.
- CloudOS Manifest Updates: Update manifests for CloudOS to ensure accurate sizing and optimal configuration for various applications and services.
- Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- CI/CD Implementation: Implement and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automating build, test, and deployment processes.
- System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance and operational standards.
- Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and blockers, and mentor junior engineers to enhance their skills and professional growth.
- Security and Compliance: Conduct regular security assessments and implement best practices to safeguard cloud environments.Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Experience in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on optimizing performance and cost.Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, or other relevant advanced certifications.
- Master\'s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- More than 10 years of hands-on experience in managing large-scale AWS environments.
- In-depth knowledge of additional AWS services such as AWS Lambda, Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, AWS ECS/EKS, etc.
- Proven Track Record in leading successful cloud migration projects or large-scale cloud implementations.
- Security Expertise with implementing and managing security controls in AWS environments, including knowledge of AWS security best practices.
- Expertise in optimizing performance and cost management for AWS resources.
- Experience integrating security practices within the DevOps process (DevSecOps).
- Strong presentation and documentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Summary
