Salary: Our salaries generally range from $ 97,692.52 to $ 122,115.65 and are based on qualifications and experience.

You will be joining the team in charge of the Sitecore platform in the new Technology Solutions division. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of Sitecore solutions. You will act as a point of contact for all stakeholders, which will include analyzing and meeting the needs of CMHC\'s internal clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Guides and advises a team of developers in their work by providing mentoring, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
  • Being CMHC\'s leading expert on the Sitecore platform.
  • Interfaces with the client community to determine their system needs. Documents the current and proposed business processes. Advises clients of the proposed solutions and their impacts.
  • Develops custom features by using Sitecore features to meet CMHC\'s needs.
  • Designs and develops web page components and templates using markup languages such as HTML, CSS and Javascript.
  • Develops and integrates new features into the Sitecore platform.
  • Creates and manages content workflows for efficient content management.
  • Implements customization features to optimize the user experience.
  • Manages the integration of third-party applications with Sitecore.
  • Works with the CMHC web team to ensure the quality of the deliverables.
  • Authors or updates technical specification documents for new or existing solutions.
  • Participates in ongoing application maintenance support for existing solutions.
  • Completes application development projects for SDLC implementation into production.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in programming, developing, and implementing business applications. This experience would be in roles and projects with increasing complexity in application development.
  • A minimum of 2 years of expertise in developing Sitecore solutions. This position will be the CMHC\'s expert on the Sitecore technology.
  • Advanced ability to program and design applications to drive business objectives and innovation while meeting requirements. This includes setting standards, best practices and reference designs.
  • Advanced Knowledge with cloud-based systems (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
  • Solid experience with end-to-end solution implementation, including project planning, estimation, and solution architecture.
  • Experience with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations management, DevOps, and Enterprise Architecture and ITIL frameworks.
  • Proven interpersonal, leadership and business competencies, including teamwork, facilitation, communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills in both official languages (French and English).
  • Strong development project organizational skills, including an ability to accomplish multiple priorities with team members when facing competing demands for resources.
Technologies:
  • Strong experience in Sitecore and its ecosystem.
  • .NET development (C#), ASP.Net
  • Web front end development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Knowledge of implementing Coveo search with Sitecore.
  • Source code management and DevOps with Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure is preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree or certificate in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Sitecore Certification
