As a

Senior Developer (Full Stack)

, you will work alongside junior and senior engineers to deliver complex, high-impact features. You'll report to an Software Engineering Manager and be hands-on in both front-end and back-end development, designing, building, and scaling systems that empower Canadians to better manage their health. You'll collaborate across teams including product, design, machine learning, and analytics, ensuring performance, security, and user experience remain top-tier.

What You Will Do




Develop and maintain robust, scalable applications across the stack, enhancing our Digital Health platform.


Cultivate a deep understanding of the portfolio of applications and their strengths/weaknesses to propose effective solutions.


Translate product roadmaps into well-structured technical tasks and deliverables.


Construct design documents and documentation for maintainability and code reuse.


Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, removing blockers and driving initiatives forward.


Work with the team to improve software quality, development processes, and technical environment.


Communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.


Support critical issue resolution and guide architectural discussions.

Does This Sound Like You?




5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.


Strong sense of ownership -- you proactively fix issues and don't leave bugs unresolved.


Solid track record building large applications in a team environment.


Comfortable with estimation, complexity, and working with uncertainty.


Data-driven mindset, using tools to measure and optimize application performance.


Excellent communicator with the ability to simplify complex solutions.


Strong refactoring techniques and comfort working with legacy systems.


Opinionated about software quality but open to other perspectives.

Preferred Qualifications




Languages & Frameworks: NextJS, NodeJS, Java


Testing: JUnit, Jest


Tooling: Gradle, Swagger


Cloud & Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GCP


CI/CD: GitLab CI, SonarQube


API Development: RESTful APIs, security best practices, microservices design


Architecture: Strong knowledge of cloud systems and distributed design


Exposure to Apigee, Akamai, or similar gateways a plus
