As a Data Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enabling Fonterra's Long-Term Aspirations (LTA) through trusted data and insights. Provide strategic oversight for data that is critical to Fonterra's operational processes and domains, ensuring alignment with and delivery of the organization's strategic vision.

You are a critical member of the Data and AI Lead Team within Operations and will lead from the front in our Data and AI agenda.



This role is about shaping and executing the data strategy, driving initiatives that enable business outcomes, and fostering collaboration across teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate the operations strategic vision into actionable Data and Data Products. Define and prioritise key data initiatives in partnership with business stakeholders. Manage the Data Product backlog and oversee development, maintenance, and quality metrics. Lead a team of Business Analysts and Data Stewards, working in close alignment with key business stakeholders, to drive the growth of data maturity within operations. Represent the operations function in the Data Product Demand and Prioritisation Forum. Build strong relationships with senior leadership and align Data Product outcomes with business objectives. Collaborate with IT Lead Data Stewards and other Data Product Managers to deliver cross-functional use cases. Role model Fonterra values and actively participate in continuous performance conversations.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or equivalent experience. 10-15 years in business, preferably within a medium to large corporate organisation. Strong relationship management and influencing skills. Highly effective communication and process management skills. Strong presentation skills
