We\'re seeking a Senior Creative Strategist to lead in UA creative direction, strategically planning advertising campaigns in collaboration with Growth Marketing, Brand/Marketing Communication and creative partners.

Working closely with Video Editors and Growth Marketing Managers, you will take lead in writing creative briefs and optimizing digital user acquisition ad creation. You will also regularly communicate insights on campaign performance data and provide recommendations to creative teams on how to further optimize creative and scale production.

To be successful, you\'ll be highly collaborative with cross functional teams, provide clear direction in UA creative strategy, be agile and proactive based on performance and learnings, communicate with stakeholders, find opportunities to scale production and own our creative testing roadmap. With a data-driven mindset, you\'ll be a key stakeholder in driving our creative strategy for all our games.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Partner with the Growth Marketing team to brainstorm, optimize and provide creative direction based on best practices, historical learnings, and competitive trends.
  • Partner with Brand/GTM and Creative Services teams to ensure creative strategy is aligned with greater marketing roadmap and complements consumer insights and brand strategies.
  • Write Creative Briefs and work directly with Creative Service team in developing ad concepts
  • Submit and manage creative tickets from end-to-end, collaborating with the Growth Marketing team to receive feedback where needed.
  • Partner with Marketing Communications team on influencer UGC creative opportunities.
  • Execute A/B testing and multivariate campaigns on multiple platforms such as Meta, Google, etc.
  • Build a pipeline of creatives that align with key marketing beats and/or evergreen initiatives.
  • Conduct regular creative analysis and present to key stakeholders with insights and action items that will influence the next test or overarching strategy.
  • Be up-to-date on emerging trends, technologies and competitive landscape
  • Manage external partners for outsourced creative production
To be successful in this role, your background includes:
  • 4+ years of experience in leading creative strategy for paid marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in managing UA campaigns on mobile and desktop; expertise in working with new social platforms and Influencers is a plus.
  • Some experience with PR and brand communications.
  • Knowledgeable in pre and post-install UA KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of full funnel marketing and its relationship to storytelling through ads.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end creative development with ability to effectively communicate creative concepts to designers and writers.
  • Proven track record of driving successful marketing campaigns and initiatives that have resulted in direct user acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and work on multiple game titles.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly organized with an acute attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of gaming industry, paid media, and ASO landscapes.
  • Experience in mobile and PC gaming within RPG and Strategy categories.

$74,400 - $111,600 a year

The salary range for this position is between CAD $74,400 - $111,600. This salary range is specific to candidates located in British Columbia. The salary of the successful candidate will vary within this range based on their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
