We are seeking a dynamic, experienced lawyer to join our TLRA Real Estate, Environment & Sustainability team as Senior Counsel. Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, you will serve as TLRA prime for TELUS' wireless/wireline network infrastructure build and operations across Canada, retail leasing portfolios across Canada and Quebec-based corporate real estate leasing, acquisition, disposition and development portfolios. You will be an integral part of a tight-knit, supportive team, with flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Canada, and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders including landlords, competitors, partners and governmental and regulatory bodies on a broad range of corporate/commercial matters related to TELUS fibre and wireless networks.

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

7+ years of relevant post-call experience in private practice and/or in-house Member in good standing with a Canadian Law Society Proficient fluency in English and French (verbal and written) Experience in commercial real estate, network infrastructure, transactional work and/or managing external counsel across different jurisdictions Knowledge of civil law and common law, membership in the Quebec Bar and prior experience with telecommunications industry considered assets Successful track record of independently managing a high volume of competing priorities, collaborating across teams and delivering on commitments in a fast-paced, complex environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to tell the story to technical and non-technical audience at all levels Proven ability to connect with, relate to and build trust with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives

Salary Range: $130,000-$194,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 30%
