What you will do :

Advanced Budget Monitoring :

Supervise and produce updates of budgets, reforecasts, and end-of-project forecasts. Coordinate the collection, validation, and analysis of quantitative data from the field and partners to produce an accurate spending entitlement calculation. Ensure consistency of commitments, incurred costs, and remaining work (quantitative and monetary) in the management system and working/collaboration files.

Actively participate in monthly budget control reviews with project management and budget owners. Formulate recommendations for budgetary and operational optimizations based on analytical data and field realities, consistently applying a business partner mindset with respect for governance procedures and rules.

Monthly Closures & Compliance :

Prepare accrued expense items at each period-end (cut-off). Collect and audit the quality of quantitative data on physical progress. Verify the consistency of spending entitlements, incurred costs, and forecasts. Collaborate with procurement and accounting departments to ensure the reliability of analytical accounting data.

Supervision & Coordination :

Support and supervise the work of cost controllers (junior and intermediate levels). Act as a resource person for technical and methodological aspects of cost control on the project. Participate in onboarding and training of new cost control team members, supporting the manager when applicable.

Tool & Process Improvement :

Propose improvements to budget control processes and tools used (Excel, Power BI, SAP, etc.). Participate in the creation or enhancement of dashboards for monitoring and reporting. Collaborate with the support team to develop automated or customized reports based on identified needs.

This role could be for you if you have :
