You Are:




As a front-line enabler of digital transformation, the Senior Copywriter will be embedded with the internal creative agency team, a group of inspired, high-performing individuals that are focused on driving value. In this role, you will develop messaging concepts and write copy for multiple channels, including email, banner, and print. Some copy will be original--and sometimes, you'll take previously approved copy and weave those concepts together to tell new stories that inspire and engage our customers. You will be involved at all stages of the creative process, so you should enjoy the iterative process of writing, editing, and polishing creative materials.

The Work:



Develop original concepts/copy and also use previously approved copy to develop copy decks aligned to creative briefs for

+ Promotional materials and resources across all therapeutic areas (respiratory, oncology, vaccines, specialty)
+ Branded and unbranded materials
+ Healthcare provider and patient materials
Develop copy suited for and across all content channels, digital and print Craft alternative options for client-created copy to deliver maximum impact and the best customer experience Partner closely with marketing as embedded team member to ideate and deliver creative copy solutions and expedite their deliverables Work as a support and ideation member of the Content Studio creative team, articulating patient-, HCP-, and payer-focused messaging, and work on its integration with project and campaign components Present copy to clients and explain how copy aligns to their brief and overall strategy Ensure quality, medical accuracy, and health literacy of all copy Copyedit and proof layout files to ensure copy is presented accurately at all stages of the process Prepare materials for promotional team review (legal, medical, regulatory, editorial review); participate in promotional review meetings and process, as required, providing solutions to ensure/accelerate approval Accurately substantiate and reference original and repurposed copy Review and utilize multiple resource documents when creating and reviewing projects, following FDA regulations and internal GSK guidance, style guides, and standards and pulling through required elements on a per-project basis Manage multiple projects at the same time and at different stages in a deadline-driven environment with quick turnaround times Follow detailed processes within project management system and content routing system


Qualifications



A University Degree is required for this position 4+ years agency or marketing writing experience Experience writing/editing in pharma space Portfolio of writing examples is required Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat, with ability to quickly learn new technology and software * SmartSheet and Veeva experience is a plus
