Job #4551 - Our successful client is looking for an experienced Controller to lead a small team of accounting professionals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a key member of the management team, this opportunity offers the successful candidate a chance to make a real impact on the financial decisions of this growing organization. Working closely with the CFO, you\'ll be responsible for managing all activities relating to the accounting and reporting needs of the company and will be relied upon as a valuable member of the management team. Main responsibilities include:

• Manage the timely completion and accuracy of monthly reporting
• Review of monthly reconciliations and financial statements
• Prepare and provide analysis of various performance metrics and portfolios
• Manage year-end audits and tax reporting requirements
• Provide mentorship to finance team
• Play an active role in the management team

Qualifications
Mandatory:
The main qualifications for this role include:

• Completed CPA designation
• 7+ years progressive accounting experience
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written
• Strong leaderships skills
• Ability to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic environment

Definite Assets:

• Previous experience in the real estate industry
• Experience with QuickBooks Online
