This position is in office and full-time in Edmonton, AB, Canada. For this role, you must have a talent for producing content that sells and have a deep understanding of content strategy and planning. You are passionate about conversion optimization and driving engaged consumers in the right direction! You will manage the development, execution, and optimization of web-based content, ensuring alignment with paid ads and SEO/SEM-related objectives to generate awareness, traffic, and high-quality conversions to support revenue and growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the growth and development of content in pursuit of continually increasing revenue and other key marketing results
  • Perform all the stages of content production, from planning and writing to publishing.
  • Mentor a small team of copywriters while focusing on content strategy.
  • Measure, meet, and adjust KPIs based on web traffic and campaign performance to ensure engagement and conversion to branded sites.
  • Track analytics, including click-through rate, conversation rates, and revenue per page, determining effective avenues for optimization.
  • Improve and optimize content strategy by conducting competitor research to draw insights.
  • Using tools like Google Analytics etc, carry out continuous on-page analysis and optimization.
  • Maximize performance by optimizing SEO strategies.
  • Monitor performance using SEMRush, AHRefs, Search Console, and other relevant tools.
  • Innovate, explore, and test new ideas in an environment where creativity and experimentation are essential and best practices are continually updated.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Marketing, or other related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant marketing experience is essential.
  • Leadership experience is an asset.
  • Track record of forward-thinking, strategic, and courageous leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated strengths in strategic and analytical thinking.
  • An exceptional ability to drive innovation and brand growth.
  • Excellent copywriting skills, with a proven track record of creating high-quality, conversion-optimized content that catches the attention of target audiences.
  • Superior communication skills
  • Experience with Google Analytics, ChatGPT
  • Knowledge of website conversion optimization.
  • Basic HTML, CSS, and Markdown skills
