Our Position

The Senior Consumer Marketing Manager (SMM)- Respiratory will be a key leader in further developing \xe2\x80\x9cbest in class\xe2\x80\x9d consumer engagement capabilities at AstraZeneca focusing on patients with respiratory conditions (asthma & COPD). Based on an extensive understanding of the market and target consumer beliefs and behaviours, the incumbent will take a leadership role in defining the vision and strategic/tactical plans for direct to consumer engagement across our portfolio of respiratory products.

The successful candidate for this role will be an entrepreneurial leader with a passion for customer engagement and empowering patients. You play to win but do the right thing and act with integrity, even when it is difficult.

Your role will be to:

Build a comprehensive direct to patient engagement strategies and executional plans for our prioritized respiratory brands.

You are the face of the patient amongst cross-functional respiratory brand teams and will influence the strategic directions of the brands to optimize the go-forward potential.

Advocate for resources within the brand teams to deploy direct to consumer campaigns and use campaign successes to secure ongoing investment.

Work collaboratively with HCP marketing, medical, patient advocacy, PR/communications, and sales leadership to ensure campaigns amplify overall brand strategy, are aligned with brand goals, and are pulled through in the physician\xe2\x80\x99s office.

Influence the development of Global consumer campaigns and work collaboratively with other affiliate to adopt new insights and assets as appropriate.

Seamlessly manage external vendors and agencies in the development and execution of campaign collateral, media buys, and measurement plans

Uphold a best-in-class commercial focus and cultivate an inclusive high-performance environment that values and leverages diversity

Qualifications

University degree in science and/or business

Min 3 years consumer marketing experience (CPG, pharma, and/or creative agency). Understanding/experience with pharma consumer marketing considered a strong asset

Experience building and launching digital multi and omni channel strategies including branded and unbranded campaigns

Experience creating media plans

Successful track record of campaign development, implementation, measurement and refinement

Possess strong commercial knowledge and executional excellence in building strategy/critical thinking/implementation, forecasting and budgetary responsibilities

Ability to influence key internal partners and work successfully within a diverse team

Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills
