In this role, you will develop and execute external communications that promote CIBC\xe2\x80\x99s capabilities, insight, advice, reputation and corporate story. You report to the Senior Director, Public Affairs, and will work with partners across the bank.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You\xe2\x80\x99ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you\xe2\x80\x99ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.How you\xe2\x80\x99ll succeed

  • Strategic Communications \xe2\x80\x93 You know what is \xe2\x80\x9cnews\xe2\x80\x9d and apply strong analytical and media relations skills in developing stellar communications strategies, media releases, social content and key messages.
  • Reputation and Brand Management \xe2\x80\x93 You proactively gather facts and apply solid judgment in managing media opportunities and issues.
  • Public Relations \xe2\x80\x93 You play a key role in external efforts to promote CIBC\xe2\x80\x99s client-focused business initiatives and consumer research, as well as subject experts in the areas of personal finance, wealth/asset management, economics and organizational effectiveness.
