What you'll be doing
As a member of Distribution and Cards Technology, Senior Consultant, PEGA Solution will join the Design/Development team in Sales, Adjudication and Workflow Engineering Technology. In this role, you will lead the technical design and development of major initiatives for Personal & Business Banking Technology. You will be responsible for overseeing the development of Pega based solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, you'll be on-site full-time. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you'll succeedDesign and Develop- Lead the design and development of solutions, including analyzing options and providing technical solutions and recommendations for senior project sponsors. Conduct cross-LOB reviews of high-level designs, change requests, and technical issues to support the development and implementation of the assigned initiatives. Provide technical guidance to application development teams, consulting on integration and transformation activities. Take responsibility not only for solution architecture, but also for leading development activities, such as code review, offering technical guidance, and leveraging emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency. Strong Leadership- Provide leadership and operational/professional management for cross-functional and cross-LOB technology team leads in the development, review, and delivery of design artifacts that give vision, direction, guidance and governance for assigned initiative. Ability to correspond to upper level management. Stakeholder Management- Establish and maintain key relationships with senior stakeholders within the project organization to ensure the effectiveness and value of the role and virtual team. Ensure that all stakeholders are consulted and informed of all significant architecture and design decisions. This will include senior technology and business leaders responsible for this large complex program.
