We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Consultant - Environmental Project Manager to join our dynamic Canadian team.Your Role: As a Senior Consultant - Environmental Project Manager, you will lead regulatory and permitting projects, lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver proposals, EAs/EISs, permit applications, and associated management plans. This is an opportunity to utilize your established relationships with companies, along with your strong project management skills to successfully lead environmental assessments and permitting for large-scale capital projects. You will serve as a representative of our company and play a key role building our business and winning new projects. What you Bring:
  • BSc or MSc in Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of consulting experience, specifically in impact assessment and permitting within the mining sector in BC.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects within the mining sector or similar industries.
  • Have well-developed team-building and influencing skills, coupled with unquestionable integrity, confidence, and the ability to effectively address client and business needs and challenges.
  • Show experience in working with provincial and federal regulatory agencies, Indigenous organizations, and the public, with an understanding of key drivers within the BC mining sector. Working as a project manager for environmental regulatory projects in Alberta, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Ontario is considered an asset.
  • Exhibit proficiency in business development, including identifying and pursuing new opportunities and preparing winning proposals.
  • Display a high degree of project management competence, with proficiency in project controls and a broad knowledge of impact assessment best practices.
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Possess excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Have proficiency with Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and project management approaches/tools.
  • Excel in high-pressure environments, adept at managing diverse internal and external stakeholders, and thrive within a vibrant team of colleagues located across the country and the globe.
  • Show flexibility and adaptability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exhibit leadership skills, capable of coaching and mentoring collaborative teams, demonstrating ERM values, and serving as a safety ambassador.
  • Commit to diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment for all team members.
  • Preferably possess PMP certification, although it is not required.

An employees pay within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. We also may have instances where compensation may be outside of the range, based on the factors noted above.
