Job Description


Infosys is seeking a EHS Techno Functional BA. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Montreal, Quebec or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualification:
  • At least 5 years of experience in EHS implementation.
  • Functional experience and problem-solving skills in the following EHS modules: Incident Management, Health and Safety Management, Environment Management and other modules like occupational health, product safety, etc.
  • Language - Should be able to speak French and English.
  • Experience with Data migration and implementation activities.
  • Exposure to COTS Product like Enablon/Intelex/Cority.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills.
  • Must have ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations.
  • Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Assess current client business and operations processes, identify opportunities for improvement and document potential gaps.
  • Facilitate discussion to solidify functional requirements in adequate detail for transition to configuration.
  • Serve as an interpreter between the technical team and the client, translating information system specifications into related business requirements that non-technical audiences can understand.
  • Lead EHS topic discussions to understand client's business process gap's and developing road maps for advancement in their programs.
  • Lead configuration of enterprise-level commercial off-the-shelf software (Enablon) to meet delivery and deployment requirements.
  • Identify, document and delegate completion of business requirements.
  • Ensure execution of configuration activities to meet project delivery milestones.
  • As applicable based on the project team assignment, function as liaison between client project teams and technical implementation associates.
  • Regularly interact and communicate with clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for questions and issues resolution.
  • Create or review project documentation.
  • Maintain Quality assurance and testing templates.
  • Create Training guides.
  • Coordinate maintenance-related activities post go-live.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Qualifications requises:
  • Le candidat doit etre situe a distance de navette de Montreal, Quebec ou etre dispose a demenager dans la region. Ce poste peut necessiter des deplacements.
  • Un diplome de bachelier ou l'equivalent etranger est requis d'une institution accreditee.
  • Nous considererons egalement trois ans d'experience progressive dans la specialite a la place de chaque annee d'education.
  • Au moins 4 ans d'experience en technologies de l'information. Les candidats autorises a travailler pour n'importe quel employeur au Canada sans parrainage de visa base sur l'employeur sont invites a postuler.

Qualification preferee:
  • Au moins 5 ans d'experience dans la mise en oeuvre de la SST.
  • Experience fonctionnelle et competences en resolution de problemes dans les modules SST suivants : Gestion des incidents, Gestion de la sante et de la securite, Gestion de l'environnement et d'autres modules tels que la sante au travail, la securite des produits, etc.
  • Langue - Doit etre capable de parler francais et anglais. Experience avec la migration de donnees et les activites de mise en oeuvre.
  • Exposition a des produits COTS comme Enablon/Intelex/Cority. Doit avoir de bonnes competences interpersonnelles.
  • Doit avoir la capacite d'analyser les problemes et de fournir des recommandations claires.
  • Doit avoir d'excellentes competences en communication (ecrite et verbale).
  • Evaluer les processus commerciaux et operationnels actuels des clients, identifier les opportunites d'amelioration et documenter les lacunes potentielles.
  • Faciliter les discussions pour solidifier les exigences fonctionnelles en detail approprie pour la transition vers la configuration.
  • Servir d'interprete entre l'equipe technique et le client, traduisant les specifications du systeme d'information en exigences commerciales connexes que des audiences non techniques peuvent comprendre.
  • Animer des discussions sur les sujets EHS pour comprendre les lacunes dans les processus commerciaux du client et developper des plans d'action pour l'avancement de leurs programmes.
  • Animer la configuration de logiciels commerciaux standard de niveau entreprise (Enablon) pour repondre aux exigences de livraison et de deploiement.
  • Identifier, documenter et deleguer l'achevement des exigences commerciales.
  • Assurer l'execution des activites de configuration pour respecter les jalons de livraison du projet.
  • Selon l'affectation de l'equipe projet, faire le lien entre les equipes projet des clients et les collaborateurs en charge de la mise en oeuvre technique.
  • Interagir et communiquer regulierement avec les clients. Servir de point de contact principal pour les questions et la resolution de problemes.
  • Creer ou revoir la documentation du projet.
  • Maintenir les modeles d'assurance qualite et de tests. Creer des guides de formation.
  • Coordonner les activites de maintenance apres le lancement.
Le travail consiste a etre assis ainsi qu'a travailler sur un ordinateur pendant de longues periodes. Doit etre capable de communiquer par telephone, par e-mail ou en face a face. Des deplacements frequents peuvent etre necessaires selon les besoins des clients et des projets.
