We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in preparing accurate project estimates, supporting project planning, and contributing to the successful execution of construction projects. Duties

Develop comprehensive construction estimates by reviewing project plans, specifications, and related documents. Utilize estimating software to prepare detailed cost analyses and pricing strategies. Collaborate with project management teams to understand project scope, schedule, and technical requirements. Conduct negotiations with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to secure favorable terms and pricing. Prepare bid proposals that accurately reflect project costs while maintaining competitiveness. Assist in risk assessment and value engineering to optimize project budgets. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and market conditions. Support project management during contract negotiations and project execution phases as needed.

Experience

Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of heavy civil or commercial projects. Proficiency in estimating software or project management software tools. Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, pricing strategies, and cost control within the construction industry. Solid background in project management principles related to construction projects. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate quantity take-offs and cost assessments. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. This role requires a dedicated professional committed to delivering precise estimates that support successful project delivery while fostering long-term client relationships through strategic negotiation and industry expertise.
