Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Construction Inspector to join our team! In this role you will get to provide general inspection services at a designated transit construction site office.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Responsible for inspecting the work materials and methods to ensure that the requirements of the contract documents are fulfilled in a safe manner with requisite quality; prepares daily progress and inspection reports for active construction contracts and issues contract deficiency reports including the follow-up on required corrective actions including inspection of same.
  • Observing, acting and reporting on any contractual and non-contractual infractions of safety, security, operational interference or transit customer inconvenience.
  • Provides special inspection expertise in structural, civil, architectural, roofing, mechanical or electrical disciplines, as required for the type of construction work.
  • Liaise between the contractor, transit staff, utility companies, local municipalities and other external agencies
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in construction inspection/management
  • Interpret drawings and specifications and have a working knowledge of construction related process and best practices
  • Knowledge of English grammar and composition
  • Familiar with basic computer software, including: Microsoft Office and other Project Management software
  • Recognize hazardous work conditions
  • Ability to use good judgment and work with others
