About the Opportunity

Our public sector client requires the help of 3 (three) Computer Application Support resources to provide professional services specializing in support of MS Dynamics 365 servers, solution architecture, SharePoint integration, ADX portal integration, SSL/TLS certificates installation and to supplement and mentor Applications Management, Integration & Innovation teams.

The client has undergone a re-organization of resources in order to improve software development lifecycle model. This includes the upgrading of current version of MS Dynamics 365 on-premises servers and applications from v8.2 to v9.1, in development and production environments. The upgrade of applications running the new version of MS Dynamics 365 will require SharePoint, portal and in-house built services integration and configuration to support the uninterrupted operation of critical applications. The client has multiple projects in-flight that require additional support, on an interim basis.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Deliver In-Service-Support (ISS) for the Enterprise Case Management System (eCMS), delivered using the Microsoft Dynamics 365 On-Premises on Windows environments
  • Provide Dynamics 365 Platform maintenance and documentation
  • Support platform monitoring, tuning, reporting and capability planning
  • Emergency support, resolve incidents and improve the stability
  • Upgrade/migration of servers and applications to new product releases and documentation
About You

The successful candidate will have the following:
  • A post secondary degree/diploma in Computer Science
  • Must have over 10 (ten) years of experience as a Application/Software Developer using .Net programming framework
  • Must have 5 (five) years experience architecting Enterprise Case Management solutions using MS Dynamics 365 on-premises software, including servers\' architecture with a large Government of Canada department dealing with Public Safety or Defence business domains
  • Experience performing the following tasks:
  • Designing, Testing, and Implementing services
  • Installing/Maintaining/Upgrading components of the Enterprise Case Management System
  • Performance Monitoring and Tuning of the Enterprise Case Management System
  • Backup and Recovery of Enterprise Case Management System Configuration
  • Evaluating, installing, configuring, testing, and upgrading Enterprise Case Management System on Windows server 2016+ environment
  • Evaluating, testing, and debugging Enterprise Case Management System products
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Platform Maintenance and Documentation
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Platform Monitoring and Tuning, Reports and Documentation
  • Experience providing Emergency Support, Reports and Documentation
  • Experience upgrading/migrating to new product releases
  • The knowledge and experience with following tools are required for In-Service-support tasks:
  • Windows PowerShell
  • Dynamics 365 Deployment manager
  • SQL Server management Studio
  • Internet Information Services
  • MS Visual Studio, .Net Framework, C#, JavaScript
  • SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Active Directory and/or Active Directory Federated Services
  • MS SharePoint
  • Other tools related to the administration of Dynamics 365
  • Other tools related to the administration of the SharePoint
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must possess a valid security clearance at a minimum level of Secret Level II
