This team manages some of the largest commissioning projects in the province, across various industries including infrastructure, health care and mission critical facilities.We will rely on your expertise in building systems to navigate challenging projects and clients demands. The ideal candidate will be well versed in electrical systems. In this client facing role, you will expected to be onsite to provide real time management and feedback (approximate travel 10-20%). There will also be opportunity to work from the JLL downtown office and from home.WHAT YOUxe2x80x99LL BE DOING:

• Understand Security, Communications, Mechanical, and Electrical equipment/systems and associated commissioning activities
• Have fluency with all commissioning processes and deliverables covered in ASHRAE, CSA, and LEED commissioning requirements
• Monitor, review, and execute all facets of Commissioning related projects by providing exceptional technical and managerial expertise.
• Liaise with team members, outside consultants and contractors to assist CBA in leading cross functional teams on various projects.
• The candidate will protect JLLxe2x80x99s contractual position and ensure our work meets contracted requirements
• Manage or jointly manage commissioning projects
• Carry out field-based commissioning activities, including:

• Site visits
• Start-up and test witnessing
• Functional Testing
• Integrated Systems Testing
• Perform Commissioning Design Drawing & Specification Reviews, as well as Submittal (shop drawing) reviews
• Chair Commissioning Meetings
• Prepare Pre-functional checklists
• Prepare Functional Test Forms
• Prepare Integrated Systems Test Forms, including CAN/ULC S1001 Test Plans
• Have fluency/understanding with how to use calibrated testing equipment used in the commissioning process (flow hoods, anemometers, pitot tubes, IR cameras, various meters, etc.)
• Develop, track and resolve issues using an Issues Log
• Understanding of how to develop and execute seasonal/performance tests
• Ability to develop/review training programs for installed equipment and systems
• The candidate will manage, front to back, all of the project documentation requirements. The intent is to be accountable for the preparation, review, and issuance of same, and though these tasks may be delegated, there may/will be the need to personally prepare them to meet the required timelines
• The candidate will manage, front to back, all of the field activity components. This includes scheduling and coordinating JLL team members accordingly, ensuring our requirements are fulfilled by the contractor and relevant sub-trades, and maximizing efficiency/productivity of our staff.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• 8+ years of relevant experience in commissioning and project management
• Post-secondary degree in engineering, ideally with major in electrical
• Any (or combination) of BCxP/CCP/CBCP/CEM/LEED AP designations is considered an asset
• P.Eng/PE or PMP designation is considered an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Project, Word, and Excel
• Proficiency with commissioning software
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and organize multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports as required. Demonstrated ability to analyze and report against contractor (and other third party) schedule updates received
• Experience working in a consultancy or owner organization is an asset
