GRIT Engineering Inc.

provides professional consulting services in site plan development, land development, municipal review, and geotechnical engineering. This firm is in its formative years and we are looking for an engineer or technologist who is committed to quality engineering work and development of innovative solutions.

In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design and preparation of engineering design drawings including site plan, grading and servicing, stormwater management and hydraulic design.

Responsibilities



Develop detailed civil engineering designs for various projects including roadways, drainage systems, and site layouts. Utilize design software such as Civil 3D to create accurate drawings and models. Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to ensure designs meet project specifications and regulatory requirements. Prepare design calculations for sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain and stormwater management. Assist in the preparation of technical letters, functional servicing and stormwater management reports Assist in preparation and administration of tender documents and contracts Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather necessary data for design development. Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for project proposals. Review and revise designs based on feedback from project stakeholders. Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project schedules. Assist in the development of design tools such as but not limited to storm, sanitary and water servicing Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications



A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in civil design or drafting roles is highly desirable. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar applications is essential. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are crucial for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
