Senior Civil Engineer - Hardscape & Site Development (Remote position)

NORTH AMERICA

Annual Salary: $125,000-$150,000 CAD + Commission/Bonus

Position Overview:

As a Senior Civil Engineer with Organic-Lock, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the effective use of Organic-Lock Stabilized Aggregate in landscape projects primarily in North America, but also around the world. Your expertise will ensure our clientele - ranging from seasoned Landscape Contractors to renowned Landscape Architects - receive the highest level of guidance and support. You will be integral to our mission of promoting sustainable landscape solutions on a global scale.

Location:

This position manages projects primarily in North America but offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to operate from a location that best suits your professional environment and needs.

While the position is remote, it demands a proactive approach and a proven ability to flourish with minimal supervision. We hold weekly team meetings for many different teams that creates a very strong collaboration dynamic. Our momentum is strong, with an influx of fresh project inquiries every day along with a very strong CRM system that contains an abundance of ongoing opportunities.

TRAVEL- Although the candidate will be able to do much of the legwork from a home office, periodic travel to visit sites around North America and abroad will be included.

Key Responsibilities:

Site inspection and troubleshooting Contractor/Landscape Architect collaboration Online Presentations Materials QA/QC Spec reviews and RFI support
TRAINING:

Envirobond will offer an extensive paid training package to quickly bring the candidate up to speed on all technical aspects of the product, as well as the overall market in general.

TRAVEL:

The candidate will be able to do much of the legwork from a home office, however periodic travel to visit sites around North America and abroad will be included.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating with, and providing technical support to, landscape architects, contractors and licensed dealers for all ongoing projects as well as following up on projects that have technical support requirements. They will also be required to consult with existing licensed dealers to ensure proper blending and installation of the Organic-Lock product.

EXPERIENCE:

Degree:

B.Eng./B.Sc. in

Civil Engineering

(or closely related: Geotechnical, Environmental, Construction).

P.Eng./PE

(or eligibility within 12 months) strongly preferred.

Field & sitework background (5-10 years in North America):

Field Experience-

hardscape/exterior improvements

(paths, trails, plazas) including

base/subbase design, drainage, grading, edge restraints, compaction, and QA/QC

.

Materials expertise:

Working knowledge of

aggregate gradation curves, fines content, moisture/compaction relationships (Proctor), permeability/infiltration, and freeze-thaw/ravel resistance

Plans & specs fluency:

Proven ability to read/mark up plan sets and specifications, write

RFIs/submittals

, and advise on

details, cross-sections, slopes, and tolerances

.

Technical communication:

Strong

technical writing

(installation guides, punch-lists, field reports) and

presentation

skills (webinars/Zoom Q&A).

AI proficiency:

Comfort with using AI-based tools to improve efficiency (training provided)

Mobility:

Willing to travel for

site visits, mock-ups, trainings

(domestic and occasional international). Valid driver's license and passport.
COMPENSATION:

Annual Salary: $125,000-$150,000 CAD dependent on experience + Commission/Bonus Commission: will be included in quarterly project commission Expenses: All travel expenses will be provided by Envirobond.
