Senior Cider Maker

With a focus on pushing the boundaries of cider making through both experimental and traditional flavors, our mission is to provide the Sea to Sky region and beyond with exceptional beverages.



Located at 1201 Commercial Way, Squamish, BC.

Job Duties:



Oversee & hands on involvement in the cider-making process from raw material selection to final packaging Monitor fermentation, adjust sugar levels and acidity, and develop new cider blends Conduct sensory evaluations, lab testing, and maintain HACCP and Quality System standards Assist management with supply chain and procurement including but not limited to raw materials and packaging material Ensure all machinery and production areas meet hygiene and operational standards Experiment with new flavors and techniques to enhance product offerings Ensure all administrative tasks are up to date and accurate Train and supervise production staff, ensuring adherence to best practices Aid in the packaging of the product such as canning when needed Maintain food safety protocols and regulatory compliance Participate in tastings, educate customers, and promote the brand

Qualifications and Certifications:



3-5 years of experience in cider making. Wine, or beer production experience will be considered. Experience working with food safety standards, tasting panels, manufacturing processes are highly preferred Strong knowledge of fermentation science and quality control Diploma or Certificate in Brewing & Brewery Operations Passion and curiosity for everything relating to cider including manufacturing processes, cider styles, and cider flavours Well developed analytical thinking skills, problem solving skills, and self-confidence Fantastic communication skills Strong administrative and financials skills Leadership and team management skills Solid under pressure with high level organizational skills Attention to detail, required for monitoring ciders, managing inventory, keeping facilities clean, and controlling costs Able to learn new skills and embrace technological innovation Ability to troubleshoot production issues and optimize efficiency
