The Opportunity
Our Change Management Office (CMO) is seeking an experienced Senior Change Management Specialist to play a critical role in enabling successful business transformation across TC Energy. This role focuses on preparing the organization to adopt new ways of working - spanning programs, processes, systems, roles, and culture - while minimizing disruption and driving sustainable change.
As the ideal candidate, you are a strategic thinker and energetic self-starter with a foundation of skills in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and relationship management, amplified by experience supporting complex initiatives in dynamic environments. You bring a practical, people-centered approach to helping teams adopt new ways of working and are comfortable collaborating across multiple functions to drive alignment and support for enterprise priorities.
As a well-rounded professional, you will manage end-to-end change activities: assessing impacts and engaging stakeholders, mitigating people-related risks, reinforcing the case for change, and supporting adoption. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, contribute to enterprise priorities, and partner with business teams to strengthen TC Energy's ability to deliver change in a consistent and effective way.
What you'll do:
Partner with business units and/or corporate functions to design and execute tailored change approaches aligned with TC Energy's centralized Change Management Framework
Engage stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization to understand impacts, assess readiness, and support alignment around new ways of working
Prepare materials and facilitate workshops and working sessions to:
Identify impacted populations and manage initiative-level change capacity
Assess and monitor change impacts, disruption, and resistance across business units and functions
Support people-related risk management by facilitating regular risk discussions and developing practical mitigation tactics
Keep sponsors, program leads, and HR Business Partners informed of key risks, dependencies, and progress
Track and report on change activities, resolving or escalating issues and roadblocks as appropriate
Reinforce the case for change through consistent, clear messaging and engagement with impacted teams
Partner with Corporate Communications, where applicable, to develop targeted, multi-channel communication and engagement activities
Participate in the change management support network to share learnings, leverage best practices, and promote consistency across BU/Functions
Minimum Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree required, with a preference for Business, Communications, or Human Resources
6+ years of experience supporting complex initiatives or transformations in roles requiring strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, communications, and change-related skills
A proactive self-starter, with demonstrated initiative, tenacity, and flexibility
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
Strong presentation skills and ability to lead and facilitate change management workshops or impact assessments
Effective stakeholder engagement and stakeholder management capabilities
Demonstrated ability to design and execute practical change or engagement approaches that support adoption of business, process, or technology initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci)
A proven history of delivering change programs or initiatives that drives measurable business outcomes
Strong contracting, consulting, and interpersonal skills to foster collaborative working relationships with internal/external stakeholders and partners at all leadership levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels within client area
Proven ability to balance multiple and competing priorities within tight timelines
Demonstrates flexibility/adaptability in reaction to change and ambiguity
Ability to think systemically and anticipate change impacts to other groups, systems and processes
