Live-In Treatment, Senior Case Manager
(Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours/week)

The Live-In Treatment Senior Case Manager (LIT SCM) bridges frontline, intensive case management care and program coordination within YouthLink's nine-bed Live-In Treatment home, serving youth who are female-identified (ages 14-18) and welcomes gender-fluid, non-binary, and youth who are transitioning. These youth often present with complex mental health needs and histories of trauma, family conflict, and attachment disruption. Responsible for a primary caseload of a minimum of one complex youth and serving as secondary support to case management, the SCM ensures seamless continuity of care, operational fidelity, and a trauma-informed, equity-centered milieu. Reporting to the LIT Manager, this role participates as a collaborative team member, facilitates shift coverage, and upholds/supports MCCSS licensing, QSF, and agency standards.

Highlights of What You Bring
Education:
Diploma in Child and Youth Work, Social Service Worker Diploma, or relevant field, and/or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
Ministry approved Physical Restraint Training (CPI, UMAB, SafeGuard, TCI) is an asset.
First Aid/CPR, ASIST certification is an asset.
Certification in DBT, CBT or other evidence-based therapeutic modalities is an asset.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience in case management working with youth with complex mental health needs in live-in treatment, shelter, or intensive youth services environment.
Demonstrated leadership skillset working in frontline youth environments.
Experience working within a unionised environment and leading small teams is an asset.
Prior involvement in anti-oppressive and anti-black racism initiatives or EDI program development is an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Expertise in adolescent development, trauma responses, attachment theory, and evidence?based interventions.
Proficiency in crisis management, risk assessment and de-escalation.
Demonstrated ability to implement therapeutic routines in a live-in treatment setting.
Proven ability to case-manage and access appropriate community resources for the young person and provide educational support.
Skilled in planning and coordinating treatment and supporting recovery back into home or community.
Experience leading therapeutic groups (e.g., DBT skills groups, psychoeducational workshops).
Strong organization and operational skills.
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, including anti-Black Racism.
Salary:
Starting $66, 626.
Hours of work:
40 hours per week (9hrs per day, including 1 hr of unpaid meal break)
Monday and Thursday 11am - 8pm
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8am - 5pm
Provides secondary coverage for AM, PM, and weekend shifts on occasion and as scheduled by Manager.
Other Requirements:
Broad Record Police Check is required.
Medical clearances including up to date immunization record and 2 step tuberculosis testing is required.
