We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings, including home care, assisted living, and group homes. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through patient observation, personal care, and companionship.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide medication administration and ensure adherence to care plans.
Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's well-being.
Document daily care activities and observations in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
Requirements
Previous experience in caregiving roles such as home health aide, nursing assistant, or direct support professional is preferred.
Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, or autism is highly desirable.
Strong patient observation skills and ability to monitor changes in physical or emotional health.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for client mobility assistance.
Familiarity with home & community care practices and long-term care experience is beneficial.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach towards caregiving.
