Overview


We are currently seeking a full-time

Senior Cabinet Maker

to join our talented team. In this role, you will play a key part in the production of architectural millwork. Working closely with our design and production teams, you'll help ensure each piece meets the highest standards of craftsmanship, precision, and quality.

Responsibilities



Review, interpret, and apply detailed shop drawings with accuracy and efficiency Select, prepare, and verify materials for processing, ensuring optimal quality and minimal waste Construct custom cabinetry, millwork, and furniture using a full range of woodworking machinery and hand tools Package finished goods securely and thoughtfully to facilitate efficient on-site assembly by our in-house installation teams Perform thorough incoming and outgoing inspections to ensure consistent quality at all stages of production Identify and implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency across the shop Promote and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, contributing to a culture of safety and accountability Collaborate effectively with team members across departments, including design, production, and installation Lead by example through professionalism, strong work ethic, and the ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines Exercise sound judgment in planning, decision-making, and problem-solving, while maintaining clear communication and reporting practices Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements



5 + years of experience in cabinetmaking, with a focus on high-end custom work Red Seal Certification in Cabinetmaking/Joinery or formal training is strongly preferred Proven ability to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget as part of a collaborative millwork team Excellent skills in reading and interpreting detailed shop drawings and contract specifications Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices is an asset A professional, collaborative, and solution-oriented attitude, you're a team player who contributes positively to the work environment Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor or support junior team members when needed High attention to detail, craftsmanship, and commitment to quality Physically capable of performing the demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and squatting for extended periods (8-10 hour shifts) Familiarity with workplace safety protocols and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
