Who You Are

We are seeking a dynamic C++ Software Engineer who is self-directed and has a passion for delivering great great-looking user experience on the Windows platform. The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer who enjoys implementing good-looking, complex solutions in Windows environments.

What You'll Do

Create and optimize graphical/gameplay functionality in C++ for our proprietary engine on Windows (based on DirectX). Implement solutions in a well-defined manner and following good coding practices Understand the software architecture to support the resolution of defects Provide insight into projects by giving solution feedback and suggesting alternative methodologies Work with subject matter experts, including Game Designers, Software Engineers, and QA Engineers, to maintain high-quality software standards Support mission and quality initiatives by delivering solutions on time

What We're Looking For

3+ years of experience in software delivery using C++ BS Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience Working knowledge of tools used in the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. JIRA, GitHub, SVN) Proficient in using modern Visual Studio and source control systems Strong analytical skills with expertise in problem-solving, reverse-engineering, debugging, and diagnostics Familiarity with Windows UI graphics/components Familiarity with legacy C++ standards (prior to C++ 11)

Bonus Points

Previous C++ Windows game development experience preferred Experience working in an Agile environment

Pay: $120,000.00 per year
