Job Description

The incumbent reports directly to the Property Manager & Real Estate & Services. He is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, managing, and controlling procurement operations regarding purchasing, inventory control, and product distribution networks. Responsibility includes responsibility for IT Procurement and Purchasing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Researching and evaluating potential suppliers based on criteria such as quality, cost, reliability and reputation;
Negotiate the terms and conditions of contracts with suppliers, including prices, delivery times and payment terms;
Manage purchase orders from inception to delivery, coordinating with suppliers and internal departments;
Periodically review and renew contracts based on supplier performance and changing business needs;
Implement specific inventory tracking procedures, ensuring real-time visibility of stock levels and locations;
Implementing an effective system for tracking purchasing-related payables;
Coordinate with finance departments to ensure that payment deadlines are met and that accounts payable are rigorously monitored;
Establish accurate rebilling procedures, ensuring that costs are correctly allocated to the right entity or department;
Prepare periodic reports on purchases and expenses for management;
Work with operational teams to implement positive changes based on inventory analysis results.

REQUIREMENTS

University degree in supply chain management or procurement and contract management, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
Minimum 7 to 9 years experience in a similar position;
Bilingualism required;
Proficiency in specialised inventory management systems for these categories;
Advanced data analysis skills, adapted to the specificities of furniture and IT equipment;
Experience in monitoring payables and re-invoicing, ensuring accuracy of cost allocations.

This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners on a national and global scale. Professional proficiency in English is therefore a requirement for this role.
