The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer will interface with business stakeholders, product owners, and end-users. As business needs demand, this role will serve as a technical and team lead for the BI Offshore team to drive progress and mentor the junior BI engineers on the Internal team. Also, will be expected to lead, scope, analyze, develop, automate, enhance and validate BI Operational reporting & analytics, and dashboard solutions in a timely and creatively manner.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Oversight of project delivery/BAU items with BI Development offshore team as directed by the Senior Manager, BI Operational Reporting.
• Mentor and trains junior team members on projects/BAU items for assigned areas of responsibility under the supervision of Senior Manager, BI Operational Reporting.
• Act as BI Solutions Architect responsible for BI Platform Architecture and creation and management of metric and attribute definitions related to schema.
• Makes decisions on complex or ambiguous BI and reporting related architecture issues.
• Interface with the business representatives and leaders to validate and capture business requirements/requests for reporting solutions.
• Analyse business requirements, propose, design, develop and implement BI solutions to satisfy requirements
• Translate business requirements for reporting projects into design and detailed specifications that can be passed on to our offshore BI/Reports developers for execution.
• Participate in development datamarts, reports and data visualization solutions (dashboards) on the Business insights platform, powered by microstrategy
• Perform detailed data analysis, data validation, reports testing and identify data and reporting quality issues
• Communicate progress, milestones, challenges against plan, and escalation of issues.
• Develop deep data knowledge of goeasy business by combining data sets from different system, analyzing heterogeneous data sets to come up with interesting KPIs and inform the business as needed dive deep into key metrics based on requests, A
• Create Ad-Hoc queries and reports as needed along with providing on-going analytical support for these requests
• Support self-service reporting and resolve data reporting issues in a timely fashion towards a stable BI environment.
• Work effectively with the Enterprise and Data Solutions Architects, Data and BI Engineers to ensure that all approved development and deployment procedures are followed.

Qualifications:

• Experience developing reports using documents, grids, graphs, dashboards and working in Business Intelligence or Reporting Environments.
• Advanced Knowledge of SQL skills to build, debug, and optimize
• 3-5 years working with SQL Server or comparable relational database system
• A minimum of 5 years of hands on design and development experience with BI tools (such as MicroStrategy, PowerBI, Tableau).
• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or other Information Technology related degree
• 2 years experience Leading The Implementation Of BI Projects
• A minimum of 5 years in-depth business reporting experience
