What I will be doing?
Creating long-term value for Acden from clients, partners, markets, and relationships
Establishing and maintaining relationships with key industry and site-based operations decision-makers and leaders
Exploring new partnerships, supporting the prequalification stages, and business development opportunities, and communicating recommendations to the Business Development Leaders
Exploring and coordinating available grants to support wholly owned businesses
Attending, engaging, and hosting networking events, conferences, workshops and other various events in Fort McMurray and other determined or required locations
Stewarding to and supporting Acden's strategic goals and vision; creating supporting strategic plans and roadmaps for wholly owned companies and corporate initiatives

What does Acden need from me?
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or relevant discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of business development experience required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, and other related software
Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills
Excellent skills in teamwork, leadership and communication
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
Ability to build rapport and professional relationships
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, analytical and reasoning abilities
Ability to work efficiently on simultaneous assignments under tight deadlines with no supervision
Professional self-starter, high level of motivation, client empathy and ethics
Demonstrated success in building trust and maintaining long-term relationships
Ability to collect and analyze data, draw conclusions, and make actionable recommendations
Results driven individual
