As a Senior Business Architect for the CFO sector, reporting to the Performance and Governance Leader, you can expect to: 1- Contribute to establishing the vision of the chain value evolution and creating a prioritized roadmap for conceptualizing business solutions that meet these needs. 2- Work with your team in the search for solutions and the execution of the roadmap. 3- Coordinate and centralize the business needs of the CFO\xe2\x80\x99s key processes, in terms of process re-engineering, innovation and technology. This vision will be developed in alignment with the strategic orientations of the organization and of the team reporting to the Executive Vice-President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Actuary (CFO). More specifically, you will:

  • Plan, analyze, provide guidance and design business architecture to meet the needs of the sector in coordination with the overall architecture.
  • Align the organizational model with the objectives and identify gaps to be filled in terms of organization, skills, processes and technologies.
  • Adopt a global approach to the sector\xe2\x80\x99s business architecture and ensure that it supports both current operations as well as their evolution so that they can meet future business needs.
  • Centralize the needs and coordinate the roadmap for the evolution of the business and technology needs of the various teams in the sector (actuarial, finance, procurement, legal, investor relations and Lean).
  • Work closely with the IT business and systems teams (architecture, portfolio and delivery) to ensure proper coordination of requirements and effective information sharing.
  • Support the need for the improvement and evolution of tools and systems in line with the sector\xe2\x80\x99s strategic planning.
  • Participate in monitoring trends in terms of new tools and technologies.
Your career path looks like this:
  • University degree in a relevant field
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in business architecture and/or other relevant experience, including experience in the technology industry
  • Experience in writing business cases
  • Very good knowledge of business architecture tools and methods
  • Excellent English and French language skills, both oral and written due to frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada.
