The Opportunity

Our Commercial Operations department has an exciting opportunity for senior business analyst to support Systems Operations leadership team.

We are seeking a keen, detail-oriented individual who has knowledge and experience in performance management, as well as cost forecasting and reporting activities. You will have a high proficiency in reporting business performance results and be able to apply this expertise to successfully tie into larger business unit scorecards and work in partnership with the business, including communication with senior/executive leadership teams.

What you\'ll do

Lead and coordinate business performance analysis and processes, including facilitation and presentation of information to the senior leadership team

Manage all budget and forecasting activities for Commercial Operations; develop and refine budget/forecast (OM&A) models for all departmental cost centers

Coordinate efforts in reporting departmental business performance results for the Canada Gas scorecard

Lead and coordinate reporting efforts on value creation initiatives for the senior leadership team, including our toll competitiveness scorecard and NGTL toll forecast

Coordinate efforts in compiling and reporting system operations data for NGTL as part of TC Energy\'s monthly Leaders\' Digest publication

Support efforts on optimization and revenue enablement initiatives

Lead and support the Continuous Improvement reporting for Canada Gas on behalf of Commercial Operations

Facilitate and support business planning activities, including goal planning, townhalls, initiatives updates; requires working with multiple leaders to deliver results

Support teams on quality management system requirements

Coordinate and support ad-hoc cost and operational data analysis and reporting initiatives as required

Project Manage lessons learned for Commercial Operations teams, facilitation, report preparations and close out

Significant effort is required to support implementation of the Communications strategy in Systems Operations, required to ensure timely commercially sensitive messaging for operational issues and to enable formal forums for internal/external stakeholders and customers.

System operational KPI and NGTL operational reporting on a monthly basis.

Minimum Qualifications

Undergraduate Degree in Business, Computer Science or a related discipline

6+ years of related work experience

A combination of education and work experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in leading initiatives with strong execution and implementation skills

Proven systems thinker with strong analytical, process and problem resolution skills

Demonstrates aptitude and willingness to be a change agent

Strong written and oral communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy; ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users

Excellent interpersonal skills - work collaboratively with functional, cross-functional and technical teams to build effective working relationships

Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of leadership

Results-oriented with strong identification and initiation of continuous improvement opportunities and the ability to manage change

Demonstrated experience leading/facilitating business problem discussions

Intermediate to Advanced experience and proficiency with various business software applications (Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, PowerPoint)
