This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing organization in a hugely successful fund administration organization. The successful applicant will join the Banking, Fund Financing, and Treasury Product Management team, focusing on high profile initiatives such as the continued program development of the MUFG Automated Payments System (MAPS) proprietary application. This individual will be responsible in supporting all items on the MAPS roadmap and specifically focus on the delivery of the following initiatives: SWIFT ISO20022 implementation, Appian Workflow Program (integration of MAPS workflow architecture), Yardi/Real Estate implementation/integration, elements of further FX platform integrations, Data modernization and decommission efforts, priority client projects that require close internal collaboration, and strategic Bank initiatives brought forth by the business and/or Product Development which require careful support and handling, as prioritized.

You will focus on collaborating with various stakeholders across the business to define requirements, manage the JIRA / Confluence paper trail for proper project management. You will also serve as a subject matter expert and partner to the various development teams and ensure projects are delivered according to stakeholder expectations.

The successful candidate must demonstrate experience in a strategic business analyst role:

  • Proactively support tactical and strategic Banking initiatives, across a variety of operational and product disciplines
  • Collaborate across stakeholder groups to generate and document business requirements for development and business implementation
  • Drive creation and maintenance of requirements across functional testing teams to ensure completeness of scope, identification of defects, follow through to resolution, and appropriate support as the Banking product subject matter expert
  • Ensure proper management of project deadlines
  • Escalation and expectation management of delays to deliverables and milestones, with prompt communication of emerging risks and challenges
  • Creation and maintenance of user training manuals and supporting product documentation
  • Provide day to day end user product support
  • Perform other product related duties as assigned
Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:
  • BS/BA in business, economics, finance, accounting
  • 5-6 + years\' experience in Business Analysis
  • Performed a similar role in a similar industry with direct product experience focused on SWIFT payment messaging technology and/or support components
  • Working knowledge or direct experience in Fund Administration, Cash Management, or back-office settlements is strong plus
  • Ability to effectively communicate \xe2\x80\x93 excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with a high level of precision in a fast-paced environment; multi-task with the ability to prioritize accordingly
  • Experienced in defining and documenting detailed business requirements
  • The ability to work well independently, as well as within a team framework
  • Strong understanding of SWIFT and payment fundamentals
  • Strong working proficiency in Confluence / JIRA
  • MS Office skills, with emphasis on proficiency in MS Visio
  • Good understanding of basic financial instruments \xe2\x80\x93 Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives
