About the Role
We are seeking a
Senior Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst
with strong expertise in the
Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain
. The ideal candidate will bring excellent communication skills and hands-on experience with
rating engine configuration
(Guidewire Rating, Duck Creek Rating, or similar). This is a great opportunity for professionals looking to contribute to high-impact projects while collaborating closely with business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for P&C insurance products.
Translate business needs into functional specifications for rating engine configuration.
Configure rating engines (Guidewire Rating, Duck Creek, or equivalent) to meet business and regulatory requirements.
Partner with development and QA teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of configured rating logic.
Facilitate communication between business and technology teams, ensuring alignment and clarity.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
5-8 years of experience
as a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst.
Strong knowledge of
with proven ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
Hands-on experience configuring rating engines
(Guidewire Rating, Duck Creek Rating, or any other rating engine).
Note: Candidates with only rating engine integration experience will not be considered.* Must be
based in Canada
(Toronto or Montreal) and available to work onsite at least
2 days per week

Optional / Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with
Guidewire InsuranceSuite
(PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
Exposure to other insurance platforms or tools.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
