Join a cutting-edge Purchasing and Inventory team, responsible for driving the best out of our suppliers, serving our internal and external customers.

We innovate by creating and executing projects for best-in-class supply chain performance, vital to TELUS infrastructure builds.

Our team and what we\'ll accomplish together

• Plan, organize and lead Automation projects, making our processes more Agile and Lean
• Solve Operational issues, supporting 95+% on time Delivery of materials
• Continuously improve interactions with our stakeholders, to deploy the fastest and most reliable networks in Canada

What you\'ll do

• Support implementation and deployment of projects led by your peers
• Define Specifications and code basic functions of Automation tools
• Build optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from SAP into web-based viewers
• Participate in the entire SW development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and to post-launch support
• Share your expertise through documentation, and discussion (both written and verbal)
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Inventory colleagues on operations, by using appropriate tools such as ERP, WMS and analytics platforms
• Ensure the best tools are in in place and used for change management and project management
• Support the Management team to implement and report on best practices
• Stay up to date with latest design, UI trend, and emerging back-end technologies

Qualifications

What you bring

• 3-5 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain and Operations Management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and ideally French), including experience delivering presentations to senior leaders
• Bachelor Degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business, Computer Science or Engineering
• Experience driving ambitious results through effective collaboration and communication
• Good understanding of the whole supply chain
• Ability to create and implement improvement projects
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in an ambiguous environment
• Be able to informally lead and manage teams built of cross-functional team members

Great-to-haves:

• Experience with data analytics tools such as Domo, Tableau or Google data studio
• Experience with SAP, Inventory Management or Warehouse Management Systems
• Basic coding skills (Excel, VB script, Python, JavaScript,C)
• Automation tools (Power Platform, Blue Prism)
• Visualization tools (Domo, Tableau, and Google Data Studio)
• Knowledge of Lean 6 Sigma or Digital Logistics
• Supply chain certification such as SCMP or APICS would also be an asset
