Your Impact:

The Jacobs team is seeking a creative, highly motivated Senior Bridge Project Manager to lead and support the delivery of local and regional projects. Our Canada transportation practice encompasses world-class professionals located in multiple offices. We are seeking to hire a Senior Bridge Engineer / Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering projects for our top transportation clients. As a key member of our team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll have the chance to work on challenging projects as the Project/Task Manager for bridge, highway and roadway projects \xe2\x80\x93 planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of projects with high degrees of technical complexity from the concept stage through detailed design. You will assist in managing external client relationships as well as lead and participate in business development initiatives.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and oversee all aspects of bridge and highway design projects including design-build transportation projects and assist with business development opportunities.
• Have overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project.
• Be responsible for communication, status reporting, decision making regarding technical approaches, and risk management.
• Lead the planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety, and organization of internal technical and support staff, and subcontractors for projects.
• Maintain a close relationship with clients, track upcoming project opportunities, and collaborate on project pursuits.
• Assist in the development and execution of local marketing and business development.

#CANPM2022 Here\xe2\x80\x99s What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need:

• Bachelor degree in civil engineering (or applicable discipline and/or equivalent experience)
• Solid experience in bridge engineering design, design management and project management.
• P.Eng. designation in Ontario
• Demonstrated experience managing various types of design projects including transportation structure renewal projects (bridge replacements/rehabilitations, structural culverts, retaining walls, etc.)
• Established local client relationships
