What You'll Do
Take full ownership of the
Accounts Payable cycle
which incorporates A/P automation software and Quickbooks, from invoice intake to approvals and payment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Manage
Accounts Receivable
, including issuing invoices, addressing billing inquiries, ensuring timely collections and reporting
Prepare journal entries
, complete bank and credit card
reconciliations
, file
GST returns
Prepare Trial Balances, maintain general ledgers
and assist in the preparation of quarterly
financial statements
and year-end working paper files
Assist the property administration team to gather service documentation from service contractors, maintain
utility tracking
for cost recovery from tenants and update tenant contact list.
General office duties
including clearing company general voice mail, distributing mail and other duties as needed (this position is not required to answer a general phone line)
What You Bring
3+ years of AP, bookkeeping, or general accounting experience
Completion of bookkeeping or accounting courses is an asset
Strong accuracy, attention to detail, organization, and accountability for your work
Clear, confident communication skills
Strong in Excel; Proficient in Word and Outlook; QuickBooks experience is an asset
Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a small, collaborative team
