Senior Billing Administrator 6 Month Contract

Job Description




We are looking for a Senior Billing Administrator.

The Senior Administrator is responsible for training, process documentation and providing technical support for the multiple functions performed in the Payment Administration\xe2\x80\x99s day to day operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for downloading, formatting and distributing various reports and providing support to leaders and the entire Payment Administration Department.

What you will do

  • Provide training to the department and support and mentor new employees.
  • Create and maintain process documentation for use in training.
  • Collaborate with the Support Team and Leaders to assess and develop training solutions and plans.
  • Download and prepare reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Participate in process review meetings and provide input, make recommendations and update process documentation as required.
  • Provide technical support to the Group Offices, Group Underwriting and other group areas, as required
  • Handle daily inquiries from Clients, Group Sales Office and other Canada Life departments
  • Handle various department inboxes and assign work as required.
  • Assist with handling of arrears.
  • Setup new groups, handle terminations and process Accounting method switches.
  • Review and proof policy year-end refund audits to ensure Administrators meet the service target date
What you will bring
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to translate technical information into a format that can be readily understood by a nontechnical audience
  • Well-developed skills using Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle pressures of deadlines, fluctuating workloads, and changing priorities
  • Strong mathematical aptitude
  • High attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Flexible and adaptable with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Group Insurance products and TOCS system would be considered an asset
  • Ability to excel within a Purpose/Vision driven environment
  • You are comfortable with technology, using multiple computer and business programs
