The ideal Senior Bartender will have a passion for excellence in guest service and a strong background in formal dining. They will be expected to function within a team environment and provide a world class formal dining experience for our guests.
1. Exemplary customer service skills and a demonstrated willingness to exceed guest expectations. 2. Sales minded with a professional, outgoing and persuasive demeanor. 3. Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team or independently with minimum supervision. 4. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization. 5. Effective decision making and problem-solving capabilities demonstrating sound judgement. 6. Adapts easily to change; works quickly and accurately under pressure, tight deadlines and multiple priorities. 7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. 8. Strong organization skills with keen attention to detail. 9. Proficiency in POS system Oversee management of day-to-day bar duties 10. Lead bar tendering team through over sight and training development 11. All recipes are followed 100% to ensure consistency of products offered to guests 12. Purchasing and inventory management 13. Bar mixes + garnish management 14. Implement opening and closing checklist 15. Implement and manage weekly cleaning tasks through checklist
REQUIREMENTS
- 1.Four (4) years of bartending experience, preferably in a fine dining setting; experience in a live-in resort environment is preferred.
- 2.Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks.
- 3.Hospitality, Tourism or related fields would be an asset.
- 4.WSET qualifications or advance bartending courses are an asset.
- 5.Must be fluent in English
- 8.Must have a valid serving it right number
