So, what will your new role look like?_
As a developer on the BizOps team, you will be responsible for the custom development serving our different internal business units. You will help the team achieve its strategic goal of connecting all the various information systems and optimizing the company's workflows. You support this by:

  • Working alongside an architect to develop new product integrations that extend or simplify company workflows
  • Evolving existing integrations to conform to new business needs
  • Creating new automation to replace manual tasks
  • Releasing, monitoring, and updating the production environment as per best practices
  • Understanding company pain points and proposing/developing new custom solutions
  • Answering operational questions from adjacent teams
What does your typical week look like?
  • Develop & collaborate on new initiatives: 60%
  • Improve & maintain the existing codebase: 30%
  • Support the production environment: 10%
What will your future team look like?
The BizOps team is part of the Operations & Integrations department. It is comprised of three developers and a solution architect. The team is expanding to accommodate the organization's growing needs.
The team's goal is to improve the operational efficiency of the company by facilitating operations for Sales, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Support and Product teams. It will support, enhance, maintain, and ensure communication between the actors of the different systems (CRM/Salesforce, payments, invoicing, license management, channel sales, marketing automation, customer success, user support, etc.)
What are the upcoming challenges for your team?
  • The team will be growing to provide its services to more departments across GSoft. In the short term, we need to understand the tools & workflows used by these new internal clients.
  • In the longer term, we will seek greater operational efficiencies by helping departments to consolidate tools & workflows.
  • The team will be assisting the organization with achieving its security & compliance goals.
Qualifications
  • Fluent in C# .NET
  • Proven history of working with multiple product APIs
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with web apps
  • Familiar with the Agile process
  • Able to switch contexts quickly
  • Resourceful & organized
Assets:
  • Salesforce development (APEX)
  • Front-end development (React.js, Vue.js, etc)
  • SQL development
