What would you do? The ideal candidate will bring experience working as a systems or support engineer, as well as experience working in a pre-sales supportive role. You will join a team of seasoned engineers and architects and will keep your technical skills sharp so you can make strong contributions to deep AWS architecture discussions with new and existing customers. This person will possess extensive experience in IT sales or consulting and can demonstrate proven success in designing and implementing large-scale computing solutions as an engineer.

What are the details?

Primary Responsibilities:

Ensure success in building and migrating customer applications, infrastructure, software and services on the AWS Platform

Educate customers on the value of HostedBizz\xe2\x80\x99s AWS Cloud Services, lead complex architectural discussions with customers, and design solutions for successful deployment in the cloud

Conduct sessions to transfer knowledge and propose business value to customers considering or already employing AWS Cloud Services

Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals in both customer and internal team communities to foster best practice and AWS Cloud advocacy

Maintain a high level of industry knowledge to recognize solutions that simplify deployment, improve performance, and promote cost optimizations in the AWS Cloud

Design compliant and secure Cloud solutions, as well as value-based, on-demand services to facilitate the effective transition and migration of projects and programs into AWS Cloud environments

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS certification (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional)

Knowledge of modern data processing techniques and systems

Experience working in a customer-facing role

Strong design-oriented thinking

High degree of comfort presenting with executives, IT Management, and developers

Able to build demos and present them

Ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences

Strong written communication and presentation skills

High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations

Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly

Experience interfacing with partner peers

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years\' experience in infrastructure and network architecture

3+ years design/implementation/consulting experience with enterprise applications

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study or 10+ years of related work experience

Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS

Expertise in one or more of the following: Containers, Big Data Solutions, Serverless, Networking, Security, Databases, IOT, AI/ML, Cloud Migration and IT Transformation

Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud

Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS

Technical expertise in the areas of cloud computing, web services and enterprise software

Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies

Working knowledge of cloud native architectures

Polished customer service and communications skills required
