Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Automation Specialist

with strong expertise in Siemens automation systems. This role involves managing technical execution across automation projects, from design through implementation. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of PLC, HMI, and drive systems, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively depending on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical execution of automation projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Program, configure, and troubleshoot Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and drive systems. Review electrical drawings and apply standard industrial programming practices. Collaborate with engineering teams, clients, and vendors to deliver integrated solutions. Provide technical mentorship to junior staff and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Support cross-disciplinary troubleshooting (mechanical, electrical, and controls). Prepare reports and maintain documentation using Microsoft Office and related tools. Travel to client sites as required (primarily regional, with occasional international travel).

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or related field. Strong hands-on experience with Siemens automation platforms (TIA Portal, S7, WinCC). Solid understanding of industrial automation standards and best practices. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Ability to work with a range of hardware vendors and systems. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.

Pay: $71,054.19-$141,414.15 per year
