The opportunity:





Reporting to the Senior Investment Advisors, the Senior Associate acts as a resource person for clients and assists Investment Advisors with administrative tasks and transaction processing related to managing client accounts.


Key responsibilities include:




Supporting advisors in preparation for client meetings, including the development of account opening documentation, product analysis, and strategic meeting materials. Managing end-to-end account processing activities such as RRSP-to-RRIF conversions, RRIF payment setups, estate settlements, and beneficiary updates. Executing a wide range of financial transactions, including cheque issuance, deposits, contributions, withdrawals, and both incoming and outgoing transfers. Handling unsolicited trade requests and delivering timely, accurate market quotes. Leading team and client initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives. Conducting in-depth research on industry trends, products, and regulatory developments to support advisor decision-making. Staying current with internal policies and industry regulations to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices. Ensuring thorough and timely follow-up on all client transactions to support accuracy, service excellence, and error mitigation. Maintaining comprehensive and compliant client records, including documentation and advisor notes, in accordance with regulatory standards. Serving as a knowledgeable point of contact for clients, providing customized reporting and addressing inquiries related to products and services. Performing other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess:




A degree or diploma in business administration, accounting, finance, or similar field of study. 3 years' industry experience. Registration as an IR with CIRO. Proficiency with the MSOffice suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook. Demonstrate a high level of accountability, reliability, adaptability, and innovation in accomplishing day-to-day work and long-term goals. Excellent attitude and commitment to providing extraordinary service. An excellent attention to detail. Exemplary interpersonal and influencing skills; an ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively, across multiple mediums (in-person, over the phone, and virtually). Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills. A high tolerance for ambiguity; highly adaptive and able to manage a large volume of competing priorities. Strong critical thinking and written and verbal communication skills. An ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality.
