What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Be Doing

The Institutional Asset Management team works closely with institutional investors in building investment solutions to help clients achieve their goals and objectives. As a Senior Associate, Institutional Client Solutions, Institutional Client Experience, you will work in collaboration with institutional team on designing institutional client solutions and completing investment proposals. You\xe2\x80\x99ll lead the investment proposal engagement, work directly on highly customized investment proposals, and review proposals completed by junior team members. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also work with a group of analysts and associates to manage content in global investment management databases. In addition, you\xe2\x80\x99ll also work alongside with Client Portfolio Managers to develop asset class narratives and thought leadership materials to build CIBC AM\xe2\x80\x99s reputation as a trusted advisor.

How You\xe2\x80\x99ll Succeed

Investment management proposals - Lead client solutioning process by completing customized Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFIs), and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs). Review standard RFPs/RFIs/DDQs completed by analysts/associates and provide coaching and feedback. Manage content in the global investment management databases (e.g, eVestement); review investment strategy profiles completed by analysts/associates and provide insightful feedback.

Asset class knowledge - Work alongside Client Portfolio Managers to develop asset class narratives and thought leadership materials including white papers, market insights, etc., for client and prospective clients.

Client engagement - Work in collaboration with teams across CIBC AM to create presentations including standard asset class presentations, periodic & ad-hoc client servicing presentations, pitch books for all asset classes.

Continuous improvement spirit \xe2\x80\x93 Work in collaboration with institutional team on ad-hoc continuous improvement projects.

Who You Are

You give meaning to data. You have extensive technical skills using applications including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Bloomberg. Experience using the global databases (e.g., eVestment) is an asset.

You\xe2\x80\x99re a certified professional. Your enrollment in or achievement of the CFA designation is preferred. You have demonstrated strong interests in markets and investment management.

You are a caring and accountable leader. You\xe2\x80\x99re passionate about developing and growing team members abilities. You have experience providing coaching and hands on support to meet team goals.

You\'re motivated by collective success. You know that teamwork can transform a good idea into a great one. You know that an inclusive team that enjoys working together can bring a vision to life.

You have a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree. MBA/Master\'s degree preferred.

You\'re fluent in English. You have strong written and oral communication skills with attention to details. It\'s an asset if you\'re fluent in French.
