Your Opportunity




As a

Senior Associate in our Assurance & Advisory practice

, you will focus primarily on audits, with exposure to both private and public company clients across diverse industries. You will have direct involvement in planning and executing audit engagements under IFRS and ASPE, working closely with managers and partners while guiding junior team members.


You'll contribute your expertise to ensure high-quality assurance work, build strong client relationships, and gain experience that positions you for continued advancement in public practice.

Your Scope:



Lead and execute audit engagements for private and public companies, including IFRS-reporting entities. Assist with planning and risk assessment, identifying significant issues, and developing tailored audit approaches. Prepare and review working papers, financial statements, and management letters in accordance with firm standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with managers and partners to deliver high-quality client service and ensure compliance with IFRS, ASPE, and applicable regulatory standards. Act as a resource and coach to junior associates and articling students, reviewing their work and providing feedback. Communicate directly with clients to resolve issues, present findings, and maintain strong relationships. Monitor progress against budgets and deadlines, escalating issues as needed to ensure timely delivery. Identify opportunities to add value to clients beyond the audit, including advisory insights.

Your Qualifications:



CPA designation recently obtained or expected by the end of 2025. Master's in accounting degree. Minimum of 3 years of public practice experience with a strong focus on audits. Experience with public company audits and IFRS is required; ASPE knowledge is an asset. Strong working knowledge of audit methodology, accounting principles, and assurance standards. Proficiency with CaseWare and other audit/accounting software; advanced Excel skills are an asset. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Works well in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with a strong attention to detail. Ability to manage a large workload, within tight deadlines. Detail-oriented, proactive, and embodying our firm's core values.
